It looks like Topps is giving Garbage Pail Kids the same treatment they gave Mars Attacks a few years ago in celebration of GPK's 30th Anniversary. Look for vinyl figures, comics, and all sorts of accoutrement in 2015.
It also gives me a chance to show off some original [and newer] Garbage Pail Kids cards I picked up during COMC's Black Friday shipping sale. When I was a kid and GPK were on their first and second series my parent's strictly forbid me from owning or buying packs. There were pretty much only a few things they ever banned actively banned me from consuming. Garbage Pail Kids and Beavis and Butt-head. I can't fault them, some of the GPK's cards were upsetting and disturbing
especially if you had a name like "Matt." I never really got into Beavis and Butt-head either and would have to wait for Office Space to appreciate his humor. But long story short, I don't have many Garbage Pail Kids and I'm working on getting all the "Matt" related ones now.
I like these two because I love NASA and space exploration plus having the same name on two different cards with the same subject matter isn't too common.

A very beautiful card despite the subject matter.

One of my favorite all-time cards as I've owned many a Rubik's cube and have never been able to complete it.

This last one #26a from the "Slobby Robbie" is the opposite card of "Fat Matt" which is card 26b.
