**This series highlights those few lucky [and unlucky] athletes that have names that make you stop and do a double take.**
On the Mount Rushmore of Heartbreakingly Great Names, Roy Face is certainly one of the four. Someday I'll do my post proving once and for all that Roy Face should be in the Hall of Fame and it is a national tragedy that he isn't a member already...but that is for another day...today, I'll just highlight one of Roy's last cards and say that although it says "Tigers" on this card Roy only pitched in two total games for Detroit during the 1968 season and he would pitch his last season [1969] with the Expos.
