Should Have Been Better

I know Ken Griffey Jr. wasn't the same skinny kid that he was when he burst onto the scene and made another card company world famous but couldn't Topps/Bowman have picked a better photograph for one of his last cards as a player. It looks like he's got a spare tire and some junk in the trunk.

agreed. this is just shy of blasphemy. Especially for those of us on the mid-Atlantic coast who have seen him fairly rarely in the last 5 yrs. We still think he is fast, skinny and thinking og getting some gold teef like Sheff's...

I pulled a 2010 Topps Chrome refractor of his a few days ago and I swear its the exact same shot but from the other side of the plate and I had the same reaction. If that is indeed his true torso size at this juncture they should have taken a picture of him in the field. The Topps company didn't do him any favors this year.
