Genius Covers: Sleepwalker #19

Today we have the only issue I own of the Sleepwalker series [Sleepwalker #19] from December 1992. You may not be able to tell from the smaller version of the scan [click on it to see a larger version] but the cover is designed to be worn as a mask with eye holes and a mouth hole that can be punched out from the cover itself.

For those not familiar with Sleepwalker he is some kind of guardian of the Mindscape [the place where people dream] who gets stuck in the mind of a human, Rick Sheridan. The Sleepwalker would "emerge" to fight bad guys and team up with X-men, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers from time to time.

Previously on Genius Covers:

American Splendor
Classics Illustrated #4 Last of the Mohicans
Mephisto vs. The Fantastic Four #1
The Amazing Spider-Man #247
G.I. Joe #30
The Mighty Thor #475
Daredevil #262
The Spectacular Spider-Man #180
The Amazing Spider-Man #246

I'm a big Fantastic Four fan. Would you happen to know when the Sleep Walker first appeared in an issue of F4?

I don't believe I've seen that issue before and I've been working on completing the Sleepwalker run. Nice!

cincykid,

I don't think Sleepwalker and the F4 were together in a F4 issue but they were together with Spider-man in the "Spider-man Vol. 1" comic fighting the Sinister Six.
