The Fine Print

If you buy these "Bringing Back The Oldies" packs that I found at the Dollar Tree [I suspect they might be other places as well] be sure to check out the deal they have on the fine print on the back.
If you send in four wrappers, $3.99 for shipping and handling, plus your address you can get a free autographed card. They say to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery but I received my card in about two weeks.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with what I got. I wasn't expecting a Jason Heyward rookie but getting an autograph from a fairly recent product is nice.

2008 TriStar Projections #308 Francisco Castillo Auto

Francisco was with the Yankees organization through 2008 and then played Independent league baseball in 2009. I can't find any stats for 2010 so it might be all she wrote for his playing career.

That reminds me that I saved a bunch of wrappers from the to send in. I'll have to find them tonight to see what I get. Knowing Cards One, I bet I'll get the same auto you did.

Ha, that's great! They probably DO have a couple thousand Castillo autos sitting around. It'd fit right in with the Cards One M.O.

By the way, I can never find these in my Dollar Tree.

That's okay Night Owl if your Dollar Tree is like mine they are nearly impossible to find. I went to my store three or four times specifically looks for the discount cards and only recently found out where they were. Mine are in the party supply section and also on some of the unused cash register aisles [I discovered that on my last visit]. I even found a Donruss Americana pack last time that I'll highlight on A Pack To Be Named Later someday.
