Since you guys seemed to enjoy my bruised Whitey Ford card, here's a battered Early Wynn. This bad boy was 60 cents.
When you look at the back of this card, you naturally almost misread why Early didn't play in the 1945 season. "On Disabled List" you might expect it to say. But "In Military Service" brings a seriousness to a baseball card that you don't often see.
