Everybody's Got A Record: Joe Torre Edition

**In this series we strive to prove the universal truth that every baseball player holds some kind of record.**

If you've ever seen any sports documentary about the late 90's/early 00's Yankees or Ken Burns' 10th Inning movie from last fall, you know this record. It might be the best known obscure record out there. In a game in the middle of July in 1975, Joe Torre was playing 3rd base for the Mets against the Astros. By the end of the game, the Mets has lost 6-2 and in each of the four times Torre went to bat he hit into a double play, setting a National League record and tying Goose Goslin's American League record for hitting into the most double plays in a game.

Torre also has another record, which I used to use all of the time as a trivia question. It gets cloudy now that he has managed the Yankees and Dodgers.
However, previous to that, he played for the Braves, Cards and Mets and later managed all 3. That is 100% Nobody else played for as many as 3 teams and managed all of them.
It could probably be reworded/reworked still, but my feeble brain hasn't attempted it.
