My favorite card shop from my days in Seattle, Brown's Cooperstown, was selling a nearly complete 1963 Fleer set piece by piece last week and as I couldn't afford the $200 asking price for the Sandy Koufax I picked up one semi-star and two commons.
#32 Ron Santo
#48 Al Jackson
Al was a two time 20-game loser for the Mets and I have to believe that for any other team that stats would have been reversed.
#52 Clay Dalrymple
This one was chosen for being the only potential sighting of a Big Mitt in the set.
The most expensive card in the set however was the unchecked checklist which was going for $500.00
