These Royals cards aren't new, but they are new to me:
GCRL even sent a bat relic card of Hector Ortiz...Hector played parts of four seasons [three with the Royals] but the admirable thing about him is that he was drafted in 1988 and didn't make his pro debut until 1998. That's 10 long years of minor league play never giving up on a dream.
