I'm happy to spread the work of a card/autograph convention coming to the Kansas City area in February. The Kansas City Autograph Experience and Sportscard Show will be taking place February 7th-9th at the International Trade Center in Overland Park, Kansas [which is to the southwest of Kansas City]. Although I'm not too much of an autograph collector [other than certified baseball card autos] I'm excited to have a show this big be this close to home and if you can make it to the show on Friday you can get in for free. Admission on Saturday and Sunday is $10.
I attended the last one of these back in 2009 and inadvertently ran into Ernie Banks in one of the hallways. The International Trade Center in the Kansas City area is a huge venue for this show and I think it would be large enough to hold a National Card show if they would dare venture farther west than Chicago.
