COMC Porn

Are you ever searching CheckOutMyCards.com and looking for newly listed rare Andy Pafko cards and you are asked to "browse her pics" and that "new hot girls join every minute"?  It seems to happen to me pretty regularly.

When people have the debate about if kids or adults run the hobby, I think COMC has firmly come down on one side of the argument.

And just to clarify, I realize that they don't approve these ads any more than I approve the ad that is running under the post currently.  I mean, anytime I post of card of a political candidate their ad inevitably appears even though I probably don't support them personally.

First off, I like the new cover page picture. Second of all, those adult ads are hilarious. There is one on the sidebar of pandora that suggest I meet Christian singles in my area, then displays a picture that makes me want to go to another site and...and...um, read scripture?

Just curious... how much can a blogger approximately make off of those ads below your posts?

Hopefully, you don't think I'm being too nosey... but I've always sort of wondered whether or not it was worth me trying it out.
Come on, now. Maybe these hot chicks all collect cards, too! I bet you'd be interested in their ads then!

Fuji,

Well, it depends on how aggressive you are with placing the ads. Typically on a post I don't get too many viewers right away and so the ads aren't really helpful in raising revenue.

But having nearly 2000 posts on various topics helps and my blog is found a lot through image searches and random term searches. One of my most popular posts ever is a brief little one I did after Captain Beefheart died.

That post has been viewed like 6,000 times and so the modest ad revenue I get is mainly from the huge posts that people find. I recommend writing about the Ipad 3, Twilight, Hunger Games, and Justin Bieber!
