There is an absolutely great article on the "Jay Mariotti didn't write this" Fanhouse.com about the fact that even though the Pirates haven't had a winning record since 1992 [and haven't won over 70 games since 2004] they are still able to make over $30 million in profits over the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
