Since starting my blog I've written about Andy Pafko 53 times. Well, it hasn't been enough! Here's post #54 and it's the Pafko post I'm most excited about since I finally got my hands on my own copy of 1952 Topps #1.
Joe Niese, an author from Chippewa Falls, WI [which is right next door to my hometown of Eau Claire] has started a Kickstarter drive for his upcoming book Handy Andy: The Andy Pafko Story. The book is expected around February 2015 and if you donate $25 [that's the level I donated at] you get an autographed copy of the book when it's ready.
Niese has also written a book about Burleigh Grimes another Wisconsin native and baseball Hall of Famer who was famous for his spitball.
