Now That's What I Call Some Baseball Card Storage!

Although I've never actually picked up any cards on craigslist I regularly check out the listings to see what's around. This listing caught my eye as it was listed as "Giant Chest of Baseball Cards," here's the accompanying photo:

Now that's one way to store your cards. I really enjoy that the only card that is obviously visible is the 1986 Topps #443 Bill Buckner. Wouldn't it be so great if there was a Don Mattingly rookie or Ozzie Smith rookie sitting on top of the pile to entice you into wondering what could be found underneath.

The literal pile of cards...dinged corners and all... can be your for $500 or something nice in trade.

$20 tops (no pun intended). And they'd have to include the trunk. My wife likes restoring those things.
I have an unused trunk and several hundred lbs of commons. I may recreate this trunk just to see it in person.

At first I thought the Buckner card was odd being sooooooo big and thought they might have pulled some sort of camera trickery but with a little checking is seems that the Buckner would be the 86 Topps Super #17 Buckner not the flagship #447

That's a good call Capt! I didn't quite realize how huge that top card was.

The trunk is probably the most valuable item in the picture. I am with Comishbob, $20 maybe. Not to mention anything in that truck is going to be seriously damaged.

Gotta admit... I really like the trunk. I have no place to put it, but it's pretty cool. So is the Topps Super Buckner.

As a kid I kept my cards in a trunk exactly like that one. Mine however were all in boxes and binders inside the trunk.
