Jonny Greenwood Where Have You Gone?

For everyone that purchased the new Radiohead album, The King of Limbs, they released two additional songs for complementary download, "Supercollider" and "The Butcher."  My hopes were of course raised and were quickly dashed.  These two songs give us about 11 minutes more of new Radiohead...and as I've had to say many times, the songs are fine..."Supercollider" is probably my favorite of this album's group of songs...they just aren't the type of music that I'm finding interesting currently.

The songs also make me serious wonder what has happened to Jonny Greenwood, Radiohead's lead guitarist.   Jonny's contribution to the band have long been cited as the large orchestral pieces heard in "Climbing Up The Walls" from OK Computer and "How To Disappear Completely" from Kid A.  Or the great guitar work in "Paranoid Android" or "There There."  [As a quick side note, if you haven't invested in the soundtrack to There Will Be Blood, which Jonny scored, I highly recommend it.]  Both of these elements, the orchestra movements and guitar work, have been noticeably absent from The King Of Limbs record that it makes me wonder what's happened?

What I would give for Radiohead guitar solos as in "Two King of Happiness" from the new Strokes album:
