Bernie Williams: Jazz Star

Along with holding just about every post-season batting record at one time or another, Bernie Williams is also an accomplished jazz musician.

He learned the guitar as a child and has released two guitar centric jazz albums, one in 2003 and the latest in 2009. His first release was "The Journey Within" and Bernie wrote seven songs on the album. It went all the way up to #3 on the U.S. jazz charts.

"The Journey Within" was followed by "Moving Forward" in 2009 and had a guest appearance by Bruce Springsteen on the album. Like "The Journey Within," "Moving Forward" was a great success peaking at #2 in the U.S. Jazz charts.

Some people were born with all the talent... it's amazing that this guy can hit a 90mph fastball and be a good enough guitar player to have a top selling album at the same time. Bernie Williams is the man... great post!
@Fuji hahaha, agreed.

-Matt. That's a sweet Bernie card. He's often on the YES Network here in NY. He is pretty good.
