#42 Boots Day
The card reads "Boots Day" but it is signed "Charles Day"...I'm not really sure which I would prefer...I guess it would be why I was called "Boots" in the first place.
But Boot's brief career helps prove my theory that every player has some unique record or story. For Boots it is the fact that he was the 1st batter to play at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia.
He grounded out to Jim Bunning.
