The Continuing Saga: 1971 Topps

#9 George Scott

Think of George Scott as a 1960's David Ortiz. George was a solid hitter (#158 on the all-time home run list) and led the league in homers with Reggie Jackson in 1975. But his 1968 season was one of the worst ever and was very Ortiz-esque. Scott batted .171 with 3 homers and 25 RBIs over 125 games and 350 at bats.
